Jewelry with a Soul, a Story, and a Name
The creation of Ostara Jewelry stems from several significant experiences and inspirations in my life. My mother, a passionate jewelry lover, introduced me to the beauty and meaning of gemstones and jewelry from a young age through her collection of jade and other precious pieces. Additionally, having pursued art education since childhood—graduating from a fine arts high school and later majoring in design at an art university—I have always been immersed in the world of art and design. However, I came to deeply resonate with the words of Kenya Hara, who said that all designs ultimately face the fate of being discarded. This realization led me to contemplate how to create works that could avoid such a destiny, and jewelry, as a form of art that can be cherished for a lifetime, naturally became my choice.
The decision to name the brand “Ostara” holds profound personal meaning. Ostara was a long-forgotten goddess of spring, and through this brand, I seek to revive her name—just as a forgotten identity deserves to be reclaimed. Her name derives from two words: “Ost,” meaning east, and “Tharra,” meaning daybreak or dawn. Every spring, her arrival brings warmth and renewal to the earth, symbolizing hope, strength, and the promise of new beginnings. This resonates deeply with me, serving as a reminder to never forget my own name, my own essence, and my own power.
Ostara Jewelry is more than just a jewelry brand; it is a celebration of feminine strength, rebirth, and beauty. Women do not need to chase external ideals of “goddesses”—we are already our own. This is the heart of my brand’s mission: Be Your Own Goddess. Through my creations, I hope to awaken that inner light in every wearer, reminding them that true brilliance comes not just from the jewelry itself, but from the strength, resilience, and radiance within. Each piece is a whisper of renewal, an invitation to rediscover the spring that has always lived in your heart.
